Lakeva earned her Bachelor’s degree from the LeMoyne-Owen College and her Master’s degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, both located in Memphis, TN. As a mother of two sons, she plans to leave a legacy for her children and inspire other mothers to do the same.

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, she noticed the impact that the pandemic caused on all healthcare professionals. This impact brought forth interprofessional collaboration among multiple healthcare workers, no matter their professional background. LL Apparel is designed to tell a story, no matter the style.

Lakeva is on a mission to create an all inclusive apparel company for careers and professionals around the world.
